Lassie (1954)
Lassie is the pet of Jeff Miller, an 11-year-old farm boy. The two become best friends and enjoy family adventures in the American countryside, teaching each other about love, nature and commitment.

Episode 1 - Inheritance
Release Date: 1954-09-12Premiere episode. Jeff inherits Lassie from the late Homer Carey, but the young collie seems strangely reluctant to leave the Carey home.

Release Date: 1954-09-19Jeff is failing arithmetic due to his problems with fractions, so Ellen tells him he may not go to the circus if he doesn't pass his next test.

Release Date: 1954-09-26To make up for ignoring Jeff, Gramps brings him home a colt Jeff names ""Domino."" Jeff then starts ignoring Lassie in his enthusiasm over having a horse.

Release Date: 1954-10-03Jeff wants to learn to use his father's gun, but Ellen is terrified of him being exposed to a firearm, although Gramps thinks he should learn to use it.

Release Date: 1954-10-24When Gramps quarrels with Matt Brockway after a hotly contested checker game, both men forbid their sons to play with each other. After Jeff and Porky's first attempt to fix the problem goes horribly wrong, so the boys hide in the woods in hopes that in ""saving"" them Gramps and Matt will be friends again.
