Beauty and the Geek Australia (2009)
Beauty and the Geek Australia is an Australian reality television series on the Seven Network. It was originally hosted by Bernard Curry in the first four series and has been replaced by James Tobin as the new host. It is based on the United States programme Beauty and the Geek created by Ashton Kutcher. The premise of the show consists of a group of "Beauties" and a group of "Geeks" are paired up to compete as teams for a A$100,000 prize.

Episode 1 - Episode 1
Release Date: 2013-10-10The ultimate social experiment makes the move from the safety of a mansion to a beach-side paradise in Fiji, where eight new beauties are paired up with eight new geeks. After they spend a night out of their comfort zone in an open tent, the geeks have to channel their inner warrior when they perform a Fijian war dance in front of a real-life tribe, with the winner receiving a surprise package, while the beauties are tested on their English skills in a spelling bee where one incorrect answer sees their geek's undies filled with live crabs. The winners of the two challenges each nominate a team to send to the Elimination Room, where they compete in a quiz in which the team with fewer correct answers is eliminated.

Release Date: 2013-10-31Sexy Photo shoot for the Geeks the Beauties become fait with that alternate universe teeming with vigilantes bursting with super powers, the Geeks must abandon that particular fantasy and indulge another. One that they've never dared dream of a photo in which their geekiness is defeated by their manliness.

Release Date: 2013-11-07Tonight, it's a make-over extravaganza for four Geeks as they are buzzed, buffed and bronzed. But, what causes one of the Geeks to burst into tears after catching a glimpse of himself for the first time post make- over? The Beauties must study up on all things international to impress a panel of genuine government leaders when they deliver a five-minute presentation about their adopted country. Meanwhile, the Geeks are thrust into the limelight as the entertainment for a real life Hen's night. Can the Geeks ditch their dodgy dance moves to perform a super sexy stripper routine and set the night on fire? And what will happen with Matthew finally confesses his feelings for Ntula?

Release Date: 2013-11-14Eliminated contestants find their way back to Fiji's shores and the makeovers continue, but this time the Beauties are calling the shots. The Beauties get up close and personal with some scary animals when they become a zoo keeper for their challenge. Meanwhile, the Geeks must tap into their female psyche to correctly answer multiple choice questions about their Beauty. But can the Geeks figure out what their Beauties really want? Or will they become tongue tied when faced with their Beauties' world of fashion, fake tans and fitness?

Episode 8 - Episode 8
Release Date: 2013-11-28In tonight's season finale, the Beauties and Geeks test their relationships mentally, physically and emotionally. In three extreme challenges, the final four couples must rack up as many points as they can by swimming above a frenzy of feeding sharks, locking lips with their partners and competing blindfolded in a jungle obstacle course. Then, the three remaining couples will battle it out in a disco dance-off. Judged by a live audience, the two teams with the most votes will go on to the very last challenge of the series - the final elimination quiz.
