Funny Pets (2006)
Funny Pets is a digital computer anime series created and directed by Ryuji Masuda that was made in 2006. The sound effects were made by Shizuo Kurahashi. The plot of the series is that a UFO carrying two aliens from another planet ends up falling into Earth, where they are saved by a moody air-headed showgirl called Funny. The two aliens, the moon-like Crescent and the sun-like Corona, must adjust to life as Funny's pets. There are twelve episodes in the series.

Episode 1 - Love
Release Date: 2006-10-09Funny becomes obsessed with a picture of a handsome man, leaving Crescent and Corona without any food.

Episode 2 - Repayment of a Favor
Release Date: 2006-10-16Crescent frees Horley from a bear trap, and his family comes to thank Crescent for his act of kindness. Unfortunately, their method of rewarding Crescent is much different than he expected.

Release Date: 2006-10-23Corona becomes depressed after his frog friend gets run over by a circus truck. Crescent feels bad for him, and tries to bring the frog back to life.

Release Date: 2006-11-06After she drinks an orange potion, the two halves of Funny's personality are unleashed. One good, and one evil. But Crescent quickly learns not to judge a book by its cover.

Release Date: 2006-12-04Funny manipulates Crescent into playing a dangerous game, that involves killing others.

Episode 10 - Loneliness
Release Date: 2006-12-11Crescent wakes up to find that Funny and Corona are gone, leaving him completely alone. In his depressed state, he cuts an imaginary version of himself out of his shadow.

Release Date: 2006-12-18Crescent, Corona, and the owl rats steal a chocolate bar from Funny, but fight over who gets the last piece.

Release Date: 2006-12-25Crescent and Corona finally find a way to fix their ship and go back home, leaving Funny in despair.
