Worzel Gummidge (1979)
Worzel Gummidge is a children's comedy series, produced by Southern Television for ITV, based on the books by Barbara Euphan Todd. Starting in 1979, the programme starred Jon Pertwee in the title role and ran for four series in the UK until 1981. Channel 4 reprised the show in 1987 as Worzel Gummidge Down Under, which was set in New Zealand.

Release Date: 1987-10-04When Aunt Sally is sold to a 'Museum of Folk History' in New Zealand, Worzel manages to stow away with her for the long journey Down Under. Reaching the town of Piwakawaka from Wellington airport, however, proves far more problematic.

Release Date: 1987-10-11After befriending a local pair of schoolchildren, Worzel sets out to rescue Aunt Sally from the museum. Finding it first closed for renovation, then multiple Aunt Sallys when he eventually gets inside, proves a fine source of mischief.

Release Date: 1987-10-18The Crowman seeks to put Worzel to work in another position after finding his post deserted yet again: as a clothes peg. But then he spots Aunt Sally's dress on the line.
