And with the coronavirus pandemic causing lockdowns and requiring people to isolate for extended periods of time, there has also been an alarming increase in gun purchases, smaller number shootings, and domestic violence. We asked Robert Spitzer what is behind the rise in gun violence during the pandemic, and what strategies and solutions can help reverse this concerning trend.
