Many countries are rushing to secure COVID-19 vaccines for their own population's use, and wealthy nations are funding research to procure massive amounts of doses. Some developing countries are trying to secure vaccines, which may not yet be proven safe, raising concerns that there will be discrepancies in vaccine distribution.
