Overview of 'Power Players' Season 1

Episode 1 - Unboxing (1)

Axel is staying with his Uncle who is a former toy inventor and current toy repairman. While playing with a collectors toy he breaks it. Going into his Uncles workshop he finds his uncles secret lab and some power bands. He releases the evil toy, Madcap who starts to smash everything. He discovers the power bands turn him into an action figure.

Episode 2 - Unboxing (2)

Release Date: 2019-09-28

The other toys first attack him thinking he's working with Madcap but quickly find that he's one of them. They begin their battles to prevent Madcap from finding a power battery and making all toys evil. Sadly he escapes with the battery.

Episode 3 - Attack of the Thermometron 9000

Release Date: 2019-10-05

Axel must wrangle Galileo and Bobbie to shut down a rogue thermostat improperly upgraded by Slobot as it plunges the house into extreme hot and cold zones.

Episode 4 - The Dynamo Dynamic

Release Date: 2019-10-12

Dynamo is sent by Madcap to capture Slobot. Axel, Sarge and Masko must stop him from being taken.

Episode 5 - Access Denied

Release Date: 2019-10-19

The team messes with Sarge's new security system and the house is put on lockdown but not before ejecting all of them first, and they have Madcap to battle.

Episode 6 - Swing Set Jet Set

Release Date: 2019-10-26

Galileo has traded Bearbarian's hammer for a jetpack with Princess Sugar Salt and she's destroying the park with it.

Episode 7 - Side Kicked

Release Date: 2019-11-02

Masko and most of the Team, including Axel, are taken over by a bad toy named Pirate set by Madcap. It's up to Zoey to rescue all of them.

Episode 8 - Porcupunk Rock

Release Date: 2019-11-09

Madcap turns to Axel and his team for help after a sonic upgrade to Porcupunk threatens to bring down the house.

Episode 9 - All Trick No Treat

Release Date: 2019-11-16

On Halloween, Axel gets too caught up in the scares and loses track of the fun – just in time for an infiltration by the worst trick ‘r’ treater of all, Madcap!

Episode 10 - Iced Out

Release Date: 2019-11-23

Madcap’s latest creation, the Ice Crusher, puts the whole city in a deep freeze, forcing Axel and the team to face him in a game of high-stakes hockey or risk slip-sliding into another ice age!

Episode 11 - Gathering Dark

Axel must help Bearbarian overcome his secret fear of the dark to stop Dynamo from stealing his ride.

Episode 12 - Bobbie Not Blobby

Axel discovers that the culprit behind Bobbie Blobby’s missing mech-suit is Masko, who only wanted to clean out its clogged clay cannons, but lets the suit fall into the hands (or tentacles) of Dr. Nautilus – intent on flooding the sewers!

Axel and the team take to the desert dunes of a playground sandbox as Madcap attempts to unearth an army of Spy Lizards from the same line as Galileo!

Episode 14 - Dodge City

Axel embraces the spirit of dodgeball to stop Madcap and Princess SugarSalt’s battle over who is the better villain from spilling over into Zoe and Cleo’s argument over who is the better coach!

Episode 15 - The Best Team

When Madcap and his minions crash a soapbox derby, the team must stop the baddies and help Axel – stuck in a car with Luka – cross the finish line!

Episode 16 - Joyride

At a rummage sale with Uncle Andrew, Axel and Zoe must stop Madcap from turning her long-lost tank toy, Joyride, into an agent of mayhem!

Episode 17 - Savage Axel

Bearbarian helps Axel get in touch with his wild side as Orangutank "liberates" nature from an apartment building - tossing potted plants of all sizes out the window and onto innocent bystanders below!

Episode 18 - The Scratch Pack

Axel and the team must run damage control after a loose spark of Minergy accidentally turns Zoe's old toys - a set of cute squishy kittens - into a pack of snarling beasts.

Episode 19 - Knockout

Axel and the team juggle not waking Uncle Andrew from his nap and stopping Orangutank from stealing Andrew's latest invention: the Knockout Box!

Episode 20 - Sarge in Charge

Axel and the team must rescue Sarge Charge from a solo mission in the backyard, which Orangutank has turned into his own personal heart of darkness.

Episode 21 - The Other Side

Axel must 'save' Bobbie Blobby after she defects to Madcap's team, tempted by Porcupunk and his assertion that she belongs with the bad toys.

Episode 22 - Bear-Knuckle Brawl

Axel must team up with Bearbarian to stop Madcap from transforming Luka's stuffed bear collection into an invincible army.

Episode 23 - Saving Private Masko

Release Date: 2020-02-22

Masko takes Axel's call for more discipline too seriously and loses sight of his own identity in the process, becoming a no-nonsense soldier set on toeing the line - and ill-equipped for a lucha libre with Madcap!

After a Porcupunk sighting, Axel leads a recon mission that slowly but surely proves to be a wild goose chase devised by Sarge, who's secretly pursuing a hobby that he's afraid to share with his teammates.

Princess SugarSalt dupes Axel into hanging out with Cleo LeBall and usurps his role as team leader, forcing Zoe to step in and keep the toys together.

Axel and the team compete against themselves in tests of skill, strength, and stamina, but when SloBot gets belittled, he splits into three separate robots - each with their own evil personalities!

Axel and the team must intervene when Zoe's not-so-friendly bowling competition with Cleo LeBall gets interrupted by Madcap, Porcupunk, and their new cohort, the mischievously magnetic Dynamo.

Axel has to clean up the living room in time for his uncle's dinner party, but trying to do too much at once leaves him stuck as a toy with Orangutank on the loose and less than an hour until the guests arrive.

Axel and the team turn Galileo's camouflaging pranks around on him, convincing the gullible gecko that he's permanently invisible - to disastrous results!

Axel must help Sarge and Bobbie learn to walk in each other's shoes - literally - after Luka unwittingly switches the toys' heads!

Axel and his team find themselves in a tough position after Ice Crusher makes it too cold for them to fight back at full speed.

Episode 32 - King Axel

After a screening of the King Arthur tale, Axel holds out his sword and declares himself king, but when Dynamo uses his magnetism to steal the weapon and bestow it upon Masko, it casts doubt among the team over who is the true leader.

Episode 33 - The Trojan Bear

When Axel opens a subscription gift-box he didn't even order, the team finds their ranks divided by a robotic bear - or Princess SugarSalt in disguise!

Episode 34 - Thirst For Power

Axel and his toys deploy the Joyride in a "ship" to "ship" battle against Dr. Nautilus, who has punctured a water main to flood the sewers and established himself as "Admiral Nautilus."

As Zoe preps Cleo LeBall's birthday party, Axel and the team run damage control against a jealous crasher - Princess SugarSalt, who has turned the decorations and gifts into instruments of chaos!

Episode 36 - Bringing Up Baby

Zoe leaves Axel in charge of the school project - watching over an infant simulator doll - but when MadCap brings the doll to life, Axel and the team must stop the baby without damaging it or risk getting a failing grade!

After a new combo-move leaves Masko permanently limp, Axel and the team must help the fallen luchador get his stretch back.

Axel and Bobbie Blobby skip out on Sarge's disaster-prep drills, leaving enough of a gap in the team's defenses for a crow to swoop in and snatch Sarge! Feeling responsible, Axel leads the team on a search-and-rescue mission.

When a toothache sends Axel to the dentist, the team must fight off Princess SugarSalt, who confuses Axel’s new “crown” for the real thing.

Episode 48 - Green with Envy

When the local news interviews Uncle Andrew about his toy inventing, an envious Galileo stages a play in the park with the help of Axel and the team, only to be interrupted by an equally envious Madcap - out to steal the spotlight for himself!

Episode 49 - Bring on the Bad Guys

Axel, Zoe, and the team confront Madcap and his minions as they terrorize a local supermarket.

Episode 50 - Spies Like Us

Uncle Andrew warns Axel that his vintage “Agent Danger” action figure is off-limits, only to have the toy escape on its own! Axel and the team must return Danger to its rightful place before Uncle Andrew finds out.

During a brutal heatwave, Axel and his team must track down Thermometron 9000, stolen by Ice Crusher for two purposes - to keep his hockey rink from melting and to bait the good toys into a rematch!

Axel and the team find themselves bested by Madcap when he uses digital devices to track their every move in combat, forcing them to act unpredictably in order to defeat him.

The Power Players are captured by Ruffin, the Toy Thief. To deliver them, Axel brings together a new team of Power Players made up of: Joyride, the Scratch Pack, Bot-Guy, and Zoe. Will these recruits be able to accomplish their mission?

Ruffin stole Luka's teddy bears and sells them at a flea market. The Power Players will take advantage of the night to recover them.

Uncle Andrew promised Axel that he would give him a toy if he helped him at a charity sale. Impatient and eager to pick out a toy, Axel descends into the store overnight. But strange events will happen there ... Axel will understand that giving is better than receiving.
