Bloomers (1979)
Bloomers was a short-lived British sitcom starring Richard Beckinsale that was aired in 1979. It was in production in 1979 but only five episodes were made before Beckinsale died suddenly from a heart attack just before a planned rehearsal for the sixth and final episode of the first series. Bloomers was immediately shelved, though the five completed episodes were broadcast later in the same year.

Release Date: 1979-09-27After another argument with Lena about work, Stan decides it's time to get a job. As luck would have it he meets Dingley and they strike up a friendship which result in them going in to partnership in his Florist shop.

Release Date: 1979-10-04Stan's first day as a florist/gardener is a memorable one but not for all the reasons he planned. Lena can't understand the sudden change in his character while Diana has less to worry about.

Release Date: 1979-10-18Dingley is depressed because the Council are about to paint a yellow line outside the shop and restrict parking. Stan's answer is to give him a book on philosophy called 'Action and Being' but is surprised by how much action he gets.
