Episode 1 - Episode 1
Release Date: 2007-04-16The Qidan is invading the Song Dynasty. There are divergent opinions among government officials over whether to fight against or to negotiate with the Qidan. Emperor CHIU HONG-YAN consults the Tui Bei Tu, a reportedly very accurate prophetic book, for a decision. He, nevertheless, cannot understand the book at all. At a loss, he thinks of LEE SHING-TIN, descendant of LEE SHUN-FUNG who predicted years ago that he would be draped with the imperial yellow robe by his supporters one day. The imperial court offers a reward of a hundred taels of gold for the arrest of TIN. YIP YEUNG, who comes from a well-off family, is very interested in the Tui Bei Tu and pledges to get it at any cost. Someone wants to kill YUEN HEI and his mother. Fortunately, they are saved by YEUNG. HEI tells YEUNG that he has been running after by people who want to kill him since he got one of the diagrams of the Tui Bei Tu.… ...

Episode 2 - Episode 2
Release Date: 2007-04-17Knowing that TIN understands the diagrams of the book, HEI asks TIN if he is the person wanted by the imperial court. TIN denies. HEI wants to become TIN’s disciple. While they are pulling and dragging, they meet Qidan girl FOK YEE NA, who is performing acrobatics on the street with others. People on the street are very rude to NA because she is Qidan. NA, who is performing at Tsui Heung House, meets YEUNG again. YEUNG invites her to a drink but she turns him down. This turns the house into a state of chaos and HEI, who happens also to be there, is hurt. Someone has sent the Tui Bei Tu to YAN. YAN believes that that someone is TIN. To force TIN to take him and YEUNG disciples, HEI pretends to be seriously hurt. He also tells TIN that his days are numbered. TIN, nevertheless, sees through them and he plays a trick on them. YEUNG leaves in a huff.… ...

Episode 3 - Episode 3
Release Date: 2007-04-18YEUNG’s father, YIP CHUN, buys back NA and her friends’ freedom. In addition, he hires NA to work at his incense factory, Chin Lei Heung. YEUNG is displeased about this. The flooding is under control. YAN holds a banquet to celebrate this. YAN would like to betroth his daughter, PRINCESS FEI FUNG, to SIU KWOK WAH, someone FUNG has not even met. FUNG runs away from the palace with her maid SUM YEE. TIN teaches HEI how to help the villagers with feng shui and divination. The master and disciple meet FUNG and YEE at a restaurant. FUNG blames TIN for swindling and confusing people’s mind. LUI WAI, owner of the restaurant, asks TIN to examine the feng shui of his restaurant. TIN foresees that WAI will have an accident. He asks HEI to advice WAI on how to avoid it. Unfortunately, WAI dies a sudden death not long after. WAI’s family brings the case to court. TIN and HEI are given 30 planks of the birch for misleading WAI with fallacy.… ...

Episode 4 - Episode 4
Release Date: 2007-04-19TIN looks into the death of WAI at his grave. He concludes that WAI did not die in an accident. TIN and HEI dress up as ghost luring the killer to show up. It turns out the man was an employee of WAI who wanted to revenge WAI for his father. NA suspects that TIN is her father whom she has lost contact with for many years because of the pendant he is wearing. She tells her good friend SONG KEI that she would not forgive TIN if he were really her father. CHUN forces YEUNG to go for a blind date. YEUNG, who does not want to go, draws a picture of the girl he is fond of. It embarrasses YEE to the core as the girl looks pretty much like her who dresses up as a boy. HEI begs TIN again to do something to change his bad fate. Not wanting to turn him down again, TIN brings him one day’s luck. As instructed by TIN, HEI goes to the casino to gamble. He does win, but he has also instigated other gamblers.… ...

Episode 5 - Episode 5
Release Date: 2007-04-20YEUNG is hurt. YEE bandages up for his injury. FUNG tells YEE that YEUNG has a crush on her. FUNG and WAH meet up for the first time and it is love at the first sight. The kicking ball competition is around the corner. WAH asks NAMFONG MUN for advice of how to win the competition. He then sets up an Octagon Formation as told by MUN and asks YEUNG out for a meeting. YEE comes along with YEUNG and they both fall into the formation. YEUNG and YEE are trapped in a cave. He tells YEE that he has found out that she is a girl. Claiming that his eyes have been injured, he tells YEE to take off her wet clothes. YEUNG does not show up on the day of the kicking ball competition so HEI replaces him to compete with WAH. WAH gets the upper hand at the beginning, but HEI manages to turn the tables on him with TIN’s help. YEUNG falls into unconsciousness and can die any time.… ...

Release Date: 2007-04-23NA refuses to marry into the YIP family. However, they work in collusion with KEI in making NA give in with a trick. FUNG and YEE ask WAH to give them the Snowy Lotus of Tianshan to treat YEUNG. As YEUNG has still not come around yet, HEI uses a cock to represent him to perform the wedding ceremony with NA. YEE feeds YEUNG some Snowy Lotus of Tianshan soup with her mouth. YEUNG wakes up after drinking it. YEUNG’s family members thank NA, for they believe that it is her marrying YEUNG that made him come around. YEE decides to go back to the palace with FUNG. Release Date: 2007-04-25HEI shows NA his love for her but is told to give up his hope. While YEE is trying hard to avoid YEUNG, FUNG is trying her best to please him. YEUNG requests FUNG to learn incense making from NA at the factory. The two girls almost get into a fight. YEUNG, standing for his wife, demands FUNG to apologize. To his astonishment, FUNG does as told. The Seven Sisters Festival is approaching. YEUNG bribes the temple attendant to let YEE and him draw the Lovers’ Bamboo Container, which represents good marriage, on the day of the festival, not knowing that HEI has done the same thing for NA and him. WAH discovers by chance that FUNG is a Princess. HEI succeeds in touching NA’s heart. She is willing to become friends with him. Yet, she still does not want to mention about TIN. FUNG takes YEUNG’s and her dates and hours of birth to the fortuneteller to see if they will make a perfect match.… ...

Release Date: 2007-04-26TIN and HEI go to NA’s rescue. MUN tries to force TIN to reveal his real identity. TIN and HEI are hurt when they are saving NA. HEI teaches TIN how to win NA’s sympathy but she overhears their conversation. TIN sincerely hopes that NA would forgive him, so much so that he did not mind it when MUN was trying to expose his identity. And yet, NA is not willing to forgive him. HEI reproaches her for this. FUNG is being pestered by some bandits. WAH saves her. He expresses his admiration for her afterwards. FUNG goes to YEE, whom asks for her forgiveness. FUNG, however, demands that YEE to scrape her face. YEUNG arrives in time to prevent YEE from doing so. YEUNG, burnt with anger, wants to slap FUNG on the face but YEE stops him, claiming that she will never betray the Princess. FUNG is touched. NA forgives TIN finally. She tells TIN that her mother, YUEN TZI-YAN, has already died. TIN is devastated.… ...

Release Date: 2007-04-27MUN bumps into TZI-YAN, a junior fellow disciple of his, on the street. He finds that she has lost her memory and that she does not remember anything. While the maids are gossiping about YEE’s staying at YEUNG’s place, NA treats her like sister. YEUNG would like to divorce NA but CHUN forbids him. In addition to this, CHUN drives YEE away. NA is sorrowful to see that TZI-YAN can neither recognize TIN or her. MUN tells TZI-YAN that TIN only gets close to her for the Tui Bei Tu. The scene of how her family was set fire to by a man in black occurs to her as soon as she hears this. MUN admits, though not directly, that he was the one who set fire to her house for the Tui Bei Tu. He also reveals that he will become the emperor once he gets the text of the book. YEUNG sells all of his possessions. He eludes with YEE with the help of HEI and NA. CHUN interrogates HEI and NA if they have helped YEUNG and YEE run away.… ...

Episode 11 - Episode 11
Release Date: 2007-04-30TIN brings YEUNG and YEE to save HEI and NA. TIN tells NA that the cock that used at her wedding ceremony had in fact been castrated, which means that her marriage with YEUNG is invalid, and that NA and HEI have not actually committed adultery. CHUN can do nothing but release them. YEUNG also tells CHUN that YEE had begged him home. Upon hearing this, CHUN agrees finally to his marriage with YEE. WAH asks MUN for advice on his marrying FUNG. He is relived when he is told to go ahead. FUNG has returned to the palace. She misses YEUNG and YEE so much that she has no appetite for food and drinks. YAN is worried. On the evening of her wedding with WAH, FUNG mistakes WAH for YEUNG. WAH sleeps with FUNG by force but is burnt instead. WAH suffers from impotence after the burn and FUNG herself has gone mad since. WAH points out that it must be the incense sticks of Chin Lei Heung that make FUNG speaking incoherently.… ...

Release Date: 2007-05-01WAH finds some 5-stone powder which is believed to have caused FUNG’s insanity at YEUNG’s place. CHUN is sent to prison, where he is beaten black and blue. YEE discovers the feng shui formation that MUN has set up for YEUNG. She comes to knows then that this is the reason why YEUNG has been down on his luck recently. WAH searches the YIPs and confiscates their property. As a result, YEUNG and YEE have to stay at the house where people with leprosy are kept. TZI-YAN visits her family’s tombs with MUN. She wants to poison MUN with cakes but he sees through her trick and so does not eat any of them. TZI-YAN confesses that she has regained her memory already. TZI-YAN and NA get back to each other, but NA still does not pay any attention to TIN. YEUNG is caught red-handed by YEE for going to a singsong house. YEUNG flies into a fit of rage, telling his wife that he has been leading a wealthy life his whole life until now. YEE is upset.… ...

Episode 13 - Episode 13
Release Date: 2007-05-02TIN presents the 18th diagram of the Tui Bei Tu to YAN. YAN demands that TIN figure out the meaning of the diagram or else his life will be at risk. YEUNG and YEE are hawking on the street. People ridicule that YEUNG is living on the earnings of his wife. YAN sends a eunuch to take YEE back to the palace to see FUNG but YEE refuses to do so. She is disappointed to learn that YEUNG has used the eunuch’s money on gambling. YEUNG runs into debt because of gambling. The creditor suggests him selling YEE to repay his debt. YEUNG slips a mickey finn in YEE’s wine. YEE knows his trick and pretends to drink it. YEE beats the creditor after YEUNG has left. YEE makes a clean break with YEUNG, whom later tells his mother that it is for YEE’s sake that he has to leave her. YEE has put the text of the Tui Bei Tu, which her mother gave her, at KEI’s. She wants to get them back from KEI.… ...

Release Date: 2007-05-03MUN falsely accuses YEUNG of killing KEI. HEI finds that TAK-WAI is meeting up with WAH. MUN kills TAK-WAI. He then writes a letter in TAK-WAI’s name, confessing that it is him who killed KEI. YEUNG is freed. MUN tells YEUNG that he is the emperor by the grace of God. After saving CHUN, MUN tells YEUNG that the original name of his family was CHAI. TIN leaves HEI, NA and YEUNG and goes to the capital to save TZI-YAN. TIN gives YAN the text that goes with the 18th diagram. TZI-YAN explains to the emperor that according to the text, his throne will be taken by someone. Refusing to believe this, YAN sends TIN and TZI-YAN to jail. Dressing up as eunuchs, HEI, NA and YEUNG sneak into the palace to rescue TIN and TZI-YAN. FUNG is excited to see YEUNG again. She promises that she and YEE will help the three to rescue TIN and TZI-YAN. TIN and TZI-YAN are kidnapped as soon as they are saved.… ...

Release Date: 2007-05-04YAN is in a towering anger that FUNG and YEE have helped YEUNG to save TIN. TZI-YAN, severely wounded, dies. The grief-stricken TIN wants to kill himself. Before he dies, he gives the diagrams and text of the Tui Bei Tu to YEUNG and asks him to pass them to HEI and NA. YEUNG interrogates MUN why he killed HEI and NA. TIN, who is not dead yet, overhears their conversation. YEUNG asks NA if TZI-YAN had told her how to decipher the text; the answer is negative. YEUNG is very obsessed with the thought of becoming the emperor. MUN tells him that becoming YAN’s son-in-law will certainly help. FUNG wants to kill herself but she is stopped by YEE. YEE helps FUNG run away from the palace. YEE asks YEUNG to take good care of FUNG. WAH has lost his sanity from taking too much 5-stone powder. Provoked by HEI, WAH slaps FUNG on the face. YAN expels WAH and his father from the capital upon learning about this. YAN demands YEUNG to leave FUNG.… ...

Release Date: 2007-05-07In spite of the fact that she is a princess, FUNG helps out at Chin Lei Heung. HEI tells NA that he is perturbed to see that everything is going so smoothly. Later, he finds out that YEUNG has bought a large quantity of 5-stone powder. YEUNG admits that MUN is manipulating WAH, and that he himself is being used by MUN as a matter of fact. In addition, he tells HEI that he did not kill TIN and TZI-YAN. YEUNG moves on to reveal to HEI what the Tui Bei Tu says about his becoming the emperor. YEUNG points out that as HEI was born at the exactly time as he was, HEI is destined to be rich and influential when he has taken the throne. HEI believes every word he says. On the other hand, HEI reports to YAN that TIN has died. He teaches YAN how to decipher the text of the Tui Bei Tu. MUN tells YAN that according to the Tui Bei Tu the dynasty will be replaced by a new one by someone close to him.… ...

Release Date: 2007-05-08YAN has been absent-minded recently, worrying that his throne will be taken over. YEUNG suggests consulting a feng shui master to see what can be done. HEI enters the palace in his capacity of TIN’s disciple but is given a hard time by MUN. MUN points out that if he is to find out the reason for YAN’s feeling of vexation he will have to go into the imperial mausoleum. Fearing that this will affect the destiny of the Song Dynasty, YAN turns down his request. FUNG’s heart aches when she is accused of breaking the relationship between YEUNG and YEE. The imperial mausoleum has been broken into. YAN has no choice but to go inside to see what has happened. MUN tells him the Song Dynasty’s spell of good fortune has run out. Worried, YAN orders the mausoleum be renovated. MUN wants to take the opportunity to set up a feng shui formation inside the mausoleum so that he will be the next emperor. Release Date: 2007-05-09YAN assigns HEI and YEUNG to the renovation of the mausoleum. At the same time, he asks KWONG-YEE to be responsible for the monitoring of their work. YAN wants to send FUNG back to the palace but she will not listen to him. FUNG tells YAN that she is carrying YEUNG’s child. YAN is burning with anger. YEUNG begs YAN to relegate FUNG to a common people. YAN objects the idea but demands YEUNG to marry into the imperial family instead. To prevent YEUNG and FUNG from getting married, NA reveals to YEE YEUNG’s true identity. CHUN has written a letter to tell YAN YEUNG’s true identity. The letter is now with YEE and NA. NA has been taken away by YEUNG, who demands that HEI bury her live. HEI, though unwilling, does as told. YEE gives YAN the letter. To YEUNG’s huge relief, CHUN only writes to ask for YAN’s permission for YEUNG to return to their hometown with him.… ...

Release Date: 2007-05-10YEUNG takes CHUN to the imperial mausoleum with a view to burying him live. HEI tries to stop him, but YEUNG threats to kill him if he refuses to cooperate. It hurts CHUN deeply to see that his son has turned into an unscrupulous person. YAN is critically ill. YEUNG stays in the palace on the pretext of taking care of FUNG. YEUNG implies to YAN that according to the Tui Bei Tu, the person who is going to usurp the throne is a close relative of YAN’s. He also suggests that the relative is none other than KWONG-YEE. HEI, pretending that he is possessed by the spirit of NA, asks YEUNG to hand out the Tui Bei Yu. YEUNG burns a fake copy of the book to NA’s spirit. In the meantime, NA and HEI, who have been suspecting that YEUNG has kept the book, turn up suddenly. On one hand, YEUNG advises YAN to forbid people from getting near his bedroom on his unlucky day. On the other hand, he makes KWONG-YEE believe that YAN does not trust him.… ...

Release Date: 2007-05-11YAN questions HEI whether the prediction made by the 18th diagram will come true but HEI does not give a direct answer. KWONG-YEE kills YAN as soon as HEI has left. YEE runs away from the palace with YEUNG. YEUNG, nevertheless, has not given up his wish to become the emperor. He enters the imperial mausoleum. When he is trying to burn down the remains of YAN’s father, HEI and NA stop him. KWONG-YEE threatens to kill CHUN if NA and HEI do not hand out the Tui Bei Tu. YEUNG, who has gone mad, kidnaps NA. In order to save her, HEI and KWONG-YEE dress YEUNG as an emperor, hoping that he will then tell them where he has hidden NA. YEE is taken in. He takes HEI to get the Tui Bei Tu. But KWONG-YEE shows up out of the blue and ruins HEI’s plan to rescue NA. Luckily, HEI manages to save NA in the end. He gives the Tui Bei Tu to KWONG-YEE. HEI and NA bump into YEE and CHUN when they are looking for a graveyard for TIN and TZI-YAN.… ...
