Minder (1979)
This comedy drama series featured Terry McCann, a former boxer with a conviction for G.B.H., and Arthur Daley, a second-hand car dealer with an eye for a nice little earner. Alongside his many business ventures, Arthur would regularly hire Terry out as a minder or bodyguard, later replaced by nephew, Ray Daley.

Episode 0 - Christmas Bonus
Release Date: 1983-12-26Arthur and Terry help Dave to decorate the Christmas tree in the Winchester, whilst ‘Er Indoors and the children are supposedly on their way to Florida. It transpires that the tickets, purchased by Arthur from a mate, are standby only, and she is not pleased. She remains stranded at the airport, but Arthur makes a few urgent calls and eventually she gets away. At the Winchester, they reminisce about times past; clips from previous episodes of Series 3 are shown, featuring such memorable characters at Maurice Michaelson, the gambler, Big Bobby Altman and Scotch Harry.
