Canada's Next Top Model (2006)
Canada's Next Top Model is a Canadian reality show in which female contestants compete for the title "Canada's Next Top Model" and a chance to start their career in the modeling industry. The winner receives a modeling contract from Elmer Olsen Modeling Agency, a $100,000 beauty contract from Procter & Gamble, and an editorial spread in Fashion magazine. CNTM is based on the successful American franchise America's Next Top Model. It is produced by Temple Street Productions in association with CTVglobemedia and CBS Paramount International TV. Three cycles have been produced and aired.

Episode 1 - Hit The Dance Floor Running
Release Date: 2006-05-31In the premiere episode of CNTM, the 10 finalist are introduced to Canada. Jay Manuel guest stars as the first guest judge, where he will be presenting the first challenge to the girls. Also, the first guest photographer on the first photo shoot is renowned Canadian Rock ‘n Roll Photographer Andrew MacNaughtan.

Episode 2 - Float Like a Butterfly, Fight Like a Babe
Release Date: 2006-06-07The initial happiness of the new move-in is beginning to wear off in the house. The traditional makeovers are given and some girls are less than pleased with the results. The girls have a photoshoot in a boxing ring and the fights are not only with boxing gloves on. The tension rises as the realization of the reality of the competition sets in and certain girls start to pick fights with each other.

Episode 3 - Walk This Way
Release Date: 2006-06-14After a lesson from runway coach Stacey McKenzie, the eight remaining contestants make their first public appearance, and one girl shows off more than the others. Also: Hollywood stylist Phillip Bloch shows up with a suprise.

Episode 5 - She Has The Weakest Photograph
Release Date: 2006-06-28The six remaining contestants face feared fashion journalist Michael Gross, who shares discomforting truths about the modeling industry with the girls. Then, it becomes every girl for herself during the first group photo shoot.

Episode 6 - Beauty is as Beauty Poses
Release Date: 2006-07-05The five remaining supermodel wannabes get a surprise visit from runway coach and judge Stacey McKenzie. Also: the girls prepare for a beauty close-up

Episode 7 - Get Ready, Get Set, Go See!
Release Date: 2006-07-12The four remaining contestants participate in a retro '80s-style photo shoot. The girls are then sent on “go-sees,” where they aren't given much time to impress potential clients.

Release Date: 2006-07-19In the first-season finale, the final three contestants face off for the $100,000 beauty contract. Tricia Helfer hosts. Jay Manuel returns as a guest.
