The Tyne-Wear derby is one of the most fiercely contested rivalries in English football. While Newcastle have the better overall record in Premier League meetings, Sunderland have held the edge in recent encounters. The Black Cats are chasing a fourth consecutive victory in this fixture, and have won 3-0 on each of their last two trips to St James' Park. The day's second game sees Arsenal head to Anfield to play Liverpool. The Gunners suffered a 5-1 thrashing the last time they met the Reds on Merseyside. There will also be a look back at the goals from Saturday's matches.
