An eight-year-old shih-tzu has the most extraordinary walk the vet has ever seen, but the operation to fix the dog's spine will be extremely risky, presenting the owners with an agonising decision.

Lara the cat went missing after jumping into a removal van, but escaped, only to be hit by a car and then attacked by a fox. Noel thinks it needs hip-replacement surgery, but owner Nigel can't afford to pay for the operation.
