I'm with Stupid (2006)
I'm with Stupid is a British television programme starring Paul Henshall and Mark Benton. The series was created by BBC Comedy North. Peter Keeley was series consultant and it was written by Danny Peak. The original pilot episode aired on BBC Three in March 2005. The main character, Paul, portrayed by disabled actor Paul Henshall, has cerebral palsy and Mark Benton's character, Sheldon, is a homeless man who Paul takes in to Bramble Lodge and offers him a place to stay. Bramble Lodge is a home for disabled people governed by Jean. The cast also includes Alan Martin as Graham, Kevin Davids as Syd, Cherylee Houston as Dorothy and Steve Edge as Sergeant Swithenback. The series aired from 10 September to 15 October 2006 on BBC Three.

Episode 0 - Pilot
Release Date: 2005-03-21Sheldon has been sleeping rough, so when Paul, a wheelchair user who lives in sheltered accommodation offers him a bed for the night, he accepts Paul's offer. When Sheldon arrives at Bramble Lodge, he soon becomes the subject of a rather strange bet between Paul and another of the lodge's resident's.

Release Date: 2006-09-10Sheldon is now employed as the odd job man at Bramble Lodge. To his surprise, he has found that life at the Lodge is not quite as genteel as he was expecting. He has also attracted the attention the local policeman Sgt Swithenback - who carries a torch for Jean, the warden of Bramble Lodge.

Episode 4 - Crafts
Release Date: 2006-10-01Jean has organised a craft fair to raise awareness and funds for Bramble Lodge. Paul and Syd make a bet to see who can raise the most money at the fair. not surprisingly, Syd isn't exactly playing with a straight bat. Sheldon has a problem too: the local scouts, who are helping out at the fair, are doing a much better job of Sheldon's job - than Sheldon.

Release Date: 2006-10-08As usual, Syd is scheming. Sheldon and Paul have discovered that he is charging people to use the Lodge's disabled parking space.

Episode 6 - Episode 6
Release Date: 2006-10-15Jean's little secret is finally out: Paul and Sheldon have discovered a letter which contains information about the sale of Bramble Lodge to a property developer. When the residents find out, a protest is organised to save the Lodge.
