And also linking families in Australia, via satellite, with their loved ones in the UK. Mike Smith searches for Santa in Lapland. Noel is joined by a host of star guests both in Australia and the UK.

Release Date: 1987-12-25Noel will be uniting families and friends throughout the UK via BBC regional cameras, and satellites will beam in pictures of their loved ones abroad. Roving camera crews will be dropping in on viewers' celebrations, Gorden Kaye will be hosting a giant Christmas party at Gerry Cottle's Circus in Battersea Park, and Noel will be joined by a host of star guests both in the UK and abroad, plus exclusive performances by the world's top pop groups.

Edmonds also heads to Morpeth, Northumberland, which was devastated by floods this year, forcing many residents to leave their homes.
