The Magnificent Seven (1998)
The Magnificent Seven is an American western television series based on the 1960 movie, which is a remake of the Japanese film Seven Samurai. It aired between 1998 and 2000. It was filmed in Newhall, California. The pilot, scripted by Chris Black and Frank Q. Dobbs, was filmed in Mescal, Arizona and the Dragoon Mountains of Arizona, near Tombstone. Robert Vaughn, who had starred in the original 1960 movie, frequently guest-starred as a crusading judge.

Royal's hired gun has a bone to pick with Chris over an incident many years back. Josiah is excited when his former love, saloon singer Emma comes to town. J.D. competes with a tomboy.

Episode 10 - Inmate 78
Release Date: 1998-03-21Chris is arrested and thrown into a gulag-type prison camp while intervening in the arrest of an innocent man. He's subsequently informed that the sheriff identifies drifters who look like they have money, and arrest them on trumped-up charges until their families pay the bail. Vin, Ezra and the boys search for Chris when he doesn't return.
