The warlords of Chor, Chan and Wong have come to see CHAI. LAI enlists their help to intercede with CHAI in order to secure the release of TSIN. Lord of Choi agrees to help on condition that YEE can meet up with him for a drink. TSIN does not know how to face YEE who has returned home with an exhausted body. YEE would like to give him an explanation but TSIN stops her and carries her into the hut to take a rest. TSIN is angry with CHAI for insulting YEE. To vent his rage, TSIN carves the words “This is where Ng meets its end” on the sacred wood, which is later discovered by CHAI. LAI is going to carve the phrase “This is where Yuet begins to bloom” on another piece of sacred wood, but is also caught by CHAI on the spot.
