Snorks (1984)
The Snorks is an animated television series produced by Hanna-Barbera which ran on NBC from September 15, 1984, to May 13, 1989. Although not as popular as the animated series The Smurfs, the program continued to be available in syndication from 1986 to 1989 as part of The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera's 3rd season, on USA Network in the late-1980s and early-1990s, on the BBC in the late 1990s, and from 2009–2011 and again from 2012–Present on Boomerang.

Episode 1 - Journey to the Source
Release Date: 1984-09-15Snorkland gets ready for a big Steam Festival, which is voluntarily called off due to a steam shortage. There is a reward for 5000 pearls for anyone who can go to the Source and try to restore the town's steam. The Snorks, along with Junior, travel to the Source where they find out that a space rocket particle had fallen on the steam source when a rocket blasted off into space a little while earlier.

Episode 2 - Vandal Scandal
Release Date: 1984-09-15The Governor unveils a new painting of himself in the town square, which is ruined by the mark of a red crayon. Interestingly enough, Casey was missing a red crayon from her set. Junior and his family blame All-Star and his friends for ruining the painting. Tooter later finds the red crayon and starts scribbling with it. Unfortunately, Junior catches Tooter with the evidence. Tooter is charged with defacing property, but when the trial begins, Tooter is nowhere to be found. The Snorks find Tooter by using Professor Galleo's secret weapon, the Silver Fish. While the Snorks find Tooter, someone else is scribbling red mustaches on the Governor's painting. The Snorks find Tooter being chased by a giant crab and almost gets caught in a bad sea current. Casey finds her red crayon when Baby Smallstar is found scribbling red mustaches on the painting! The charges against Tooter are dropped.

Episode 3 - Hooked on a Feeling
Release Date: 1984-09-22Everyone is having a good time at a carnival, everyone except Occy who is excluded from everything. He finds a love interest in a fishing lure in the guise of a girl octopus. This relationship takes a dangerous turn when a swordfish follows it along with Occy all over Snorkland. The Governor blames Occy for causing this whole mess and banishes him to the Great Beyond. The Snorks then help Occy out when the Swordfish chases him again. They find out that the cause of the whole trouble was the girl octopus lure and Occy has to give her up for the good of the town.

Episode 4 - The New Neighbors
Release Date: 1984-09-22While on a field trip at the kelp factory, Tooter meets a hummerfish who follows him home. When the Snorks find out that the Hummerfish is to be killed, Tooter tries his best to protect him from Junior's dad. Tooter lets it go, but there is a whole lot of hummers in town and they are in a mad feeding frenzy.

Episode 5 - Das Boot
Release Date: 1984-09-29In the middle of a seahorse polo game, a giant boot crashes down on the field. Everyone thinks that it is an alien from beyond the limits. Galeo tries to communicate with it while the governor thinks that the boot will attack Snorkland. Tooter finds out the truth about the so-called invader and examines it. While examining it, Junior comes up and Tooter plays a trick on him, making him think that the aliens are attacking. Junior starts a story that gets out of hand. Tooter tells All-Star that there are no alins at all. Galeo uses his machine to contact, but it calls a giant crab toward the boot.

Episode 6 - Which Snork Snitched?
Release Date: 1984-09-29All-Star and Junior compete against each other in a gymnastics event and Junior cheats. All-Star finds out and gets Junior in trouble. To get back at All-Star, Junior buys a myna bird to spy on all of the Snorks' plans.

Episode 7 - Allstar's All-Star Band
Release Date: 1984-10-06To make some money for All-Star's uncle Galleo, All-Star and his friends put together a band. The singing might be a little bit bad, but Occy fooling around as a keyboardist proves to be a great success. Soon, Occy is a huge star of Snorkland. Junior, however, wants to ruin Occy's success in any way he can. He even goes to his Dad, the Governor, who wants the band to stop playing so that he can promote his bad playing band. With Occy's help, that band starts playing perfectly. Both the Governor and Junior's plans backfire on them when the steam power controlling the instruments goes out of control and hits the Elder's house!

Episode 8 - Snorky Mania
Release Date: 1984-10-06A barrel from the world above falls into the ocean, letting out a reddish fluid that makes people frightningly zany. Meanwhile, the Snorks are performing in a talent show and Dimmy really sets a bomb with his jokes. Then the red stuff seeps in and makes everyone laugh. Of course, it gets out of hand when the entire town starts laughing crazily. The Snorks go out in the Silverfish to find the the problem at the Great Reef. The barrel is about to fall in the reef, but the Snorks get it out in time. But Junior and Occy, under the spell of the red stuff, take over the Silverfish! Eventually, Occy gets back to normal and so does Junior.

Episode 9 - A Snorking We Will Go
Release Date: 1984-10-13The Snorks go on a snorking trip. Everyone is having the time of their lives, except Junior. Junior is all shook up after a story about a sea creature. While on a nature hike, they get lost thanks to Junior's ""sophisticated"" compass. While finding the way back, they come across an old sunken ship. As they explore the ship, they almost get caught by a strange giant form reaching into the ship. All-Star gets them all out safely, and he is commended for his efforts. The strange form just happened to be a diver just exploring under the sea.

Episode 10 - Now You Seahorse, Now You Don't
Release Date: 1984-10-13The Snorks enter a seahorse race. Junior, with the help of little Willie, cheats in the race. All-Star and Junior have to compete in a Snorkel chase. Junior thinks that All-Star's seahorse is all washed up because his horse ""won"". All-Star tries to prove him wrong by training his horse Sea Biscuit. Galeo creates a machine for the Silverfish with a magnetic compass. All-Star takes it by mistake and finds out that Junior and his horse cheated. All-Star and the Snorks cook up a plan to get back at Junior.

Episode 11 - Snork Dance
Release Date: 1984-10-20It's the last day of school and everyone is looking forward to the Snork Prom. All-Star gets cheated by Junior during a football game, but the Snorks see through his trick and win the game. All-Star makes the winning shot, but breaks his foot. All-Star gets Tooter to go out with Casey, but Junior tries to ruin the date by making himself like Tooter, right down to the green makeup. Occy knows the difference, but no one listens. Galeo makes up a new dance without knowing it and All-Star goes to the prom with his new dance. Junior gets uncovered and has to dance with an overexcited Snork girl who has been chasing him throughout the episode.

Episode 12 - Snork Marks the Spot
Release Date: 1984-10-20The Snorks check out a construction site where Junior builds his empire. Occy digs up an old treasure map. Galleo tells the Snorks that the map was left by ancient Snorks. Junior steals the map and gives the Snorks a fake map to follow. They encounter a whole lot of dangers along the way while Junior thinks that the treasure is buried right in his own front yard. Galeo finds out that the treasure map is actually a warning about molten lava, an unfortunate proposition for Junior and his family.

Episode 13 - Junior's Secret
Release Date: 1984-10-27Junior talks about All-Star and his toy drive buit he forgets to mention that he sleeps with a toy turtle. Willie accidentally gives away Junior's turtle and Junior secretly pines for it. Junior then breaks into the school to get the toy turtle back, and gets caught by a guard. The Governor bails him out and he makes up a story about donating toys. At the toy drive, Junior tries to take his turtle back, but Baby Smallstar claims it as her own. Knowing that all is lost, Junior goes out and buys a stuffed seahorse.

Episode 14 - The Big Scoop
Release Date: 1984-10-27Junior makes up a story about a big wolf-fish for the newspaper, so he employs Willie to make his story come true. A sea current comes along and blows Willie away and Junior gets it all on film. All-Star notices that the fish was fake, and Junior vows to get a picture of a real wolf-fish. The Governor is worried about Junior (and Willie who followed him) and All-Star and the Snorks try to find him. Junior finds a real wolf-fish, and it chases him. All-Star and the rest of the gang get him in no time. The story is in the newspaper and Junior is mad again.

Episode 15 - The Blue Coral Necklace
Release Date: 1984-11-03Daffney gets a new blue coral necklace and Casey wants one as well. All-Star gets a hold of his mother's necklace and gives it to Casey, but then Occy gets it crushed under a steam roller. All-Star tries to tell his mom about the necklace when she mentions that she will wear it at a picnic! All-Star then scrambles to find a rare coral necklace. he finds it in a cave and as Tooter and Occy find blue coral, Tooter gets caught in a cave-in. All-Star uses the Grappler, a new invention, to get Tooter out and to mine some blue coral. New necklaces are made for all the gang and All-Star tells his mother what happened. His mother then tells him that the coral necklace that was destroyed was costume jewelry! It seems that All-Star and the gang went through all that trouble for nothing.

Episode 16 - Up, Up & Awave
Release Date: 1984-11-03Two oceanographers are exploring communication skills of porpoises and pick up the Snorks. The Snorks are having a balloon contest. Something goes wrong with Junior's balloon and anchors All-Star's balloon to a rock. All-Star fixes it and is in the race again. In order to finish, the teams all face the wrath of Junior's cheating and a big sea current. Now, after saving Junior, they get lost and Tooter, Dimmy, and Daffney's balloon gets carried away by the porpoises. The baloons are caught by the oceanographer's net and are saved by the porpoises. Then, they are caught by a giant funnel, and the town loses hope. The porpoises save all of the balloons in time.

Episode 17 - Snorkin Surf Party
Release Date: 1984-11-10It is a very HOT day in Snorkland. The Snorks venture to the beach. Junior introduces two surfer girls whom he brags to about beating All-Star. All-Star goes to the cove and is a great surfer, but Junior tries to prove him wrong. He challenges him to a Snorkboard race at the Big Reef. All-Star says it's dangerous and Junior calls him a ""Yellow snorkfish"". All-Star then builds a sand castle and Junior shows off by building an even bigger castle. Junior overhears All-Star talking about Galeo's motor for his invention and Junior steals the motor, unbeknownst to him that the machine is out of whack! Junior accidentally makes it work when trying to cheat, and Junior ends up with a cold. The two girls choose Galeo over Junior because of his invention.

Episode 18 - The Snorkness Monster
Release Date: 1984-11-10The Snorks take a field trip to the Snork Ness. They can go anywhere except any of the caves because of the Snorkness monster. An old man tells them that the Monster likes kids- for mysterious reasons. Casey encounters the moster while picking weeds and Occy goes into the cave. The Snorks check it out and find a big pearl. It turns out that the pearl is an egg laid by the Monster. The Snorks take the Silverfish with a communicator that lets them talk to the monster. Casey tames the monster and the monster tells them that her egg is gone and she wants it back. All-Star goes to Junior's house and try to get the Egg back, but the Wetworths catch them. The egg hatches and out pops a baby Snorkness monster!

Episode 19 - A Snork on the Wild Side
Release Date: 1984-11-17A wild creature with two snorks named Jo-Jo meets the Snorks. The Snorks try to get him and his pet Fenji to see that Snorkland is a good place to live. They show him how to have fun and to be like all of the Snorks. Junior tries his best to catch Fenji and take him to the zoo. Jo-Jo and the Snorks then go to the zoo to get back Fenji. Jo Jo doesn't understand why all the fish are in cages and lets them go. The Governor catches Jo Jo and locks him up. All-Star and Casey try to get him out so he can free Fenji. Of course, the famed Wolf-fish chases Junior and Jo Jo saves him by scaring away the Wolf fish. The Governor then frees all of the fish for Jo Jo.

Episode 20 - Allstar's Double Trouble
Release Date: 1984-11-17All-Star has a date with Casey, but his mother wants him to take Samantha, a friend of the family, out to show her around Snorkland. All-Stra cannot be in two places at the same time, and he doesn't want Casey to know about his visiting friend. At the movies, Samantha tells All-Star about a boyfriend that she has back home, and he's a big one at that. All-Star then tries to be at both the movies and the prom with the help of Dimmy and Tooter. Just then, Bubba, Samantha's boyfriend, comes to visit and goes after All-Star. As All-Star goes to be with Casey, Junior joins Samantha! Bubba gets on Junior!

Episode 21 - Fine Fettered Friends
Release Date: 1984-11-24At school, Galeo shows the Snorks some great archaeological finds. One of the interesting items is ancient handcuffs. Galeo fastens the cuffs on Junior's and All Star's arms and they spend the whole day handcuffed together. Galeo suggests that they climb the mountain where Galeo found the handcuffs and they have to work together to find the key.

Episode 22 - Time Out for Sissies
Release Date: 1984-11-24To work on his football skills, Dimmy takes ballet lessons. He is ridiculed by a buch of bullies who instantly dub Dimmy a sissy. But Dimmy proves them wrong by using a few moves on the team. Dimmy then gets the whole team to take ballet lessons. The bullies then take over the dance school where the football team really gets at them.

Episode 23 - Me Jo-Jo, You Daffney
Release Date: 1984-12-01Daffney wants Dimmy to appreciate her, but when he doesn't oblige, an accident brings her and Jo Jo together. Jo Jo tries his best to woo Daffney. Dimmy is jealous when Jo Jo goes with Daffney to the Debutante Ball. Jo Jo learns to be civilized and a refined gentleman. Dimmy tries to prove that he can be as brave as Jo Jo, too. He tries to tame a wild fish and totally crashes the party. Jo Jo saves the day by luring the fish away.

Episode 24 - The Old Shell Game
Release Date: 1984-12-01Mrs. Butfish asks All-Star and Dimmy to housesit for her and she wants them to watch her seashell collection. Junior then finds out about the job and he tries to ruin it for them. Then Junior gets Occy to chase Polly, his myna bird, and they accidentally change the address number on the houses. The house next door is going to be demolished the next day and the changed addresses make the workers think that the Butfish house is the one that they are to tear down. While all this is happening, Junior steals the seashells and then tells her that All-Star and Dimmy stole the shells. Luckily, Occy had the foresight to hide the shells.

Episode 25 - The King of Kelp
Release Date: 1984-12-08Snorkland is getting ready for the Kelp Festival. All-Star and Junior vie in the kelp harvest competition. It seems like Junior's machine is better than All-Star's, put picks up a lot faster. Junior then picks a girl octopus to keep Occy busy while he sabotages All-Star's machine. All-Star's machine starts to go out of control and crashes. Occy then enters the race and tries all his might to pick the most kelp to help All-Star win the contest.

Episode 26 - Whales Tales
Release Date: 1984-12-08A baby whale gets separated from its mother when another whale chases them. Casey gives Daffney a driving lesson and they come across the whale in the net. They try to help the whale find its mother, but they try to hide it from anyone, especially Junior. Junior comes across the whale when he tries to snitch on All-Star, Casey and Daffney. The killer whale gives chase again and eats the Silverfish. The baby whale bumps into the whale and gets knocked out. The mother whale finds her baby when it comes to.
