SUM denounces her for leaving the family. She is puzzled by what he says. KAN tells SUM that KEI has lost her memory and the story behind. Years ago, KEI beat her master in a contest. KAN suggests buying new kitchen facilities. LAI says that she will do so if SHEUNG wins the competition. KAN agrees to her condition. KAN accepts SHEUNG as his apprentice finally. SHEUNG is thrilled to bits. KEI has hurt SHEUNG accidentally. As a token of apology, she sends her a gift in secret. SHEUNG, however, mistakes that it is from KAN. HO faints out in the cold room. LOK comes to her rescue in time. HO is very grateful to him. She has also found that she has fallen in love with him. LOK tries to please HO in every way.
