Mighty Orbots (1984)
Mighty Orbots is an American/Japanese Super robot animated series created in a joint collaboration of TMS Entertainment and Intermedia Entertainment in association with MGM/UA Television. It was directed by veteran anime director Osamu Dezaki and features character designs by Akio Sugino. The series aired from September 8, 1984 to December 15, 1984 on Saturday mornings in the United States on ABC and later on in Japan by Animax, totaling up to 13 episodes.

Episode 1 - Magnetic Menace
Release Date: 1984-09-08Two musicians working for Umbra use their music to summon a Magnetic Monster on Earth. The Orbots must unite to stop it before it destroys the planet.

Episode 3 - Trapped on the Prehistoric Planet
Release Date: 1984-09-22Deciding that Mighty Orbots is too powerful for his agents to defeat, Umbra has his agent Metanllis, who has the power to control minds, lure them to the planet Evilon with a stolen defense satellite. There, its prehistoric monsters will surely destroy the robot heroes. Meanwhile, a giant meteor is flying toward Earth, which will be devastated with both the defense satellite and Mighty Orbots unable to stop it!

Release Date: 1984-10-13Rondu and Dia leave for a summit meeting onboard the Stellar Queen, which is taken over by space pirates. Mighty Orbots speeds to the rescue, but the pirates of misused the Stellar Queen's anti matter engine, and soon it'll explode and wipe out the entire sector!

Episode 13 - The Invasion of the Shadow Star
