Patrick insists to Maxie that it is not her fault that Robin died. Maxie believes that he should hate her, but he can't go on thinking about what he lost. Maxie's arraignment gets underway and she pleads guilty on all charges. Spinelli goes to Jason's worried about Maxie. Jason attempts to explain Maxie's grief to Spinelli, because he feels responsible for Robin's death as well. Jason thinks that Spinelli should find Lisa's real killer and that way Maxie will be cleared of the charges. Starr wakes up having slept on Michael's couch. Michael ends up comforting her as she talks about her daughter. Starr tells him about Cole having been in prison for killing somebody. As they are talking, Jason shows up at Michael's door. John goes to see Anna at her hotel room where it is revealed that they know one another from his time working in the FBI. John wants Anna's help with Sonny Corinthos. Anna ends up warning him that he can't live his life for revenge. John says that if Sonny is responsible for Cole and Hope's deaths he will make him pay. Anna ponders if it will be over then but John replies that it will never be over after Sonny took away from him his sister. Following Sam's call, Steve tells Olivia that his mother is in a mental institution and goes into the history of her selling him on the black market and then attempting to drug his adoptive mother. Sam meets with Heather at the mental institution and asks her to to tell her more about the day Jason was born. Heather wants to be reunited with her son for the information. Sam shows Heather a picture of Jason and wonders why Franco is involved. Heather tells her that the baby in the picture isn't Jason.
