Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo (1979)
The original thirty-minute version of Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo constitutes the fourth incarnation of the Hanna-Barbera Saturday morning cartoon Scooby-Doo. It premiered on September 22, 1979 and ran for one season on ABC as a half-hour program. A total of sixteen episodes were produced. It was the last Hanna-Barbera cartoon series to use the studio's laugh track. Cartoon Network's classic channel Boomerang reruns the series.

Episode 1 - Happy Birthday, Scooby-Doo
Release Date: 1984-09-09It's Scooby's birthday and the gang plans a surprise party for him at a TV station with a special show. All of his friends are there. They share a mystery story that happened years ago when they captured the butler of an elderly rich woman who tried to steal a dimond from her years ago posing a horrible creature called the Red Skull. Suddenly the Red Skull is back and he's out for revenge.

When there, Scooby is surprised with "This Is Your Life Scooby Doo", hosted by Mark Winkendale. Special surprise guests include Velma, Fred, and Mrs. Vandereel, whom they helped by solving the mystery of the Red Skull Curse. Before too long the Red Skull comes back and steals the Last Hope Diamond again, but is it really Freddie as everyone seems to believe?

It soon seems that they are not the only ones searching, Professor Dinkley's ex-assistant Ms. Mullens is lurking in the backroom, waiting to steal the orb.
