A knife robbery takes place at a shop inside in the shopping mall, the suspect CHEUNG SIU-KEUNG is caught by the mall security on the scene. Half a year later, barrister LAU SZ-KIT acts as his defense lawyer during the hearing and successfully proves the innocence of KEUNG. KIT also helps KEUNG to patch up with his wife. As a keen-witted and straightforward barrister, HONG CHI-YAN shares the same law firm with KIT. On the other hand, YAN also successfully seeks justice for her foreign client MICHAEL in court.
